  Description:

  Our company, Apotheco Pharmacy Group (“Apotheco”), is an independent retail pharmacy specializing in dermatology products. We are searching for Licensed Pharmacists to join our team! We care about our employees and believe in a work/life balance, which includes evenings and weekends off!! Additionally, full-time pharmacists receive 15 days of PTO, 2 floating holidays, and 100% employer paid short & long term disability, life insurance. Apotheco pays ~80% of an employee’s medical benefit premiums. We also offer Dental & Vision benefits and a 401k plan.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Dispensing prescribed medications in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations;
  • Providing direction related to quality, clinical and compliance for Apotheco operations initiatives in compliance with state and federal laws; Providing consultation and other pharmacy services to patients;
  • Providing supervision of Apotheco’s support staff; and
  • All other functions reasonably assigned to you that are consistent with your title.

  Education/Experience: Have earned a BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited pharmacy school.

  License/Certification:

  Licensed Pharmacist in applicable State.

  Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft products.   Apotheco Pharmacy Group (“Apotheco”) are looking for individuals who are as passionate about patient care as we are! We care about our employees and believe in a work/life balance, which includes evenings and weekends off!! Each employee is assigned their own workstation, including desk/chair, computer, and headset to ensure you are productive and organized.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  You will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Label and prepare products for patients.
  • Process prescriptions using computer software.
  • Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
  • Coordinate patient deliveries.
  • Keep the pharmacy clean and organized.
  • Complete insurance verification.
  • Apply manufacturers coupons if applicable.
  • Bill and charge credit cards.
  • Keep patient information up to date.

  Most of our communication with patients is through the phone, so you must have an excellent phone presence, including being friendly, professional, and well spoken. Although we do not require pharmacy experience, it is appreciated!

  Education/Experience:

  • High School Graduate (or equivalent) is required.
  • At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician or customer Service-related healthcare experience is preferred
  • At least 1 year of fields of up to 1 year preferred.
  • Pharmacy Technician License is preferred but not required
    • Apotheco will pay for you to obtain your pharmacy technician license if required by State Board of Pharmacy
