Apotheco Pharmacy is an innovative access platform that offers specialized dermatology care for those with skin conditions. Apotheco Pharmacy Carmel was built from the ground up in 2020. We are located on Old Meridian street nestled amongst a bustling business scene that includes hotels, boutiques, restaurants, and bars. Our skin care and dermatology pharmacy in Carmel, Indiana is only a mile away from the Carmel arts and design district and ten minutes from the fashion mall at keystone. There is plenty of parking available on-site at our pharmacy, however free prescription delivery is available.

What is Actinic Keratosis?
Actinic Keratosis (AK), also known as Solar Keratosis, is known as sun damage. AK’s form when the skin is badly damaged from UV rays from the sun, or indoor sun tanning. Over time, UV rays can cause damage to our skin and in some cases, when the damage accumulates, our bodies are less able to repair itself. AK’s are often dry and scaly, pink, red or sometimes a white or brown color. AK’s occur mainly on the back of your hands, scalp, and face. AK’s can also be painful once the area is irritated or rubbed.
